heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Sorry Notes
Bottle of the caliber next to meLife's stature has got me waiting for totalityAwaiting my departure, I'm debating on whether or not I should end it all tonight with my face all numbYeah, you can call me dumb but I died that night- November 5th, 2016That night was the end of things and truthfully, I don't want to walk this plank anymore but just thinking about my family has got me hanging on by a string and not the rope I see in my dreamsThe afterlife is what you make it out to be and I'm ready for this journey of blue skies in paradisePalm trees, ocean's breeze and the love of my life-******* ********* ***** ******You see, I understand shit ain't easy but try to understand where I stand underneath itallThe moment you realize you're going to fall is the moment you let go and forget to stallWe're all working towards the ultimate goalI'll see you thenYou'll see me then.

Wall Flower / A Reminder Amour-ed.
I keep thinking about her. Her features are etched behind my eyes into the very front of my mind. Beauty like hers is what drives a man to do stupid things. Even to kill. Her face can be called none less than perfected art. To stare would seem sacrilegious. Then our eyes meet and my heart races. I can find no other action but to smile. At times like these I remember how much one person can feel about and for another in one moment. I enjoy these moments. When our eyes meet and we smile. My sight blurs for a moment. I don’t want to stare but... the impulse is too strong to resist by my idle mind and eyes. All I can do is stare now. I was brave too late. Life has many regrets. But few will be as painful as this one. Even worse I have to see you everyday. A reminder amour-ed.
