heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Ignorance
A fire in my soul heart burning desire but you always treat me like I am fire I try to pass the time to get you out of my mind but everything I see draws me to you every time I wish that this was easy I wish that I was fine but every time I think of you It burns inside my mind I don’t know how to make you see how much you could be free we could be birds flying high in the sky without a care or worry or anything to hide

The Quiet
Oh how I hate the quiet. It's not peaceful at all. It's completely menacing. The stillness wreaks havoc on my bones, knowing I'm left alone; to think, to ponder, to reflect to wonder. The quiet is good to those who have victory with closure. The quiet is patient and kind to those whose emotions are conquered and triumphed.

Memories
As memories of you flood my brain like the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, I sit here and wonder what could have been. As memories of you fill my head like you fill the gas tank on a car, I think about all those 20-minute drives I took just to see you and be in your presence.
