Mundane Simplicity
This poem has been written as part of Sahil Patel's Lifeline's (Medium) poetry prompts. Today's prompt is: I invite you to reflect on the simple yet profound aspects of your life that you may take for granted. It can be a warm cup of tea, a comfortable cosy blanket, a favourite book or a gentle breeze. I want you to write an ode to one of these simple joys in your life. Let your words celebrate the beauty and significance of the seemingly mundane, reminding us all to cherish the little moments that bring us happiness and contentment.

Unspoken Affection
He was in a rush. Somewhere in the center of the city. Then he spotted her. Someone he had always wanted to date. A woman he wished to marry. A lady from his boyhood dream. However, there are some old recollections. Old school recollections. She remembered him. She grinned as she glanced at him. They greeted one another. They looked into each other's faces. They were once friends. Back then, they were rather close. They hugged each other. They moved to a tranquil spot. At the park. Upon their arrival, They glanced at each other again. It was love. Unspoken affection. A connection with no agreement. Kisses and hugs followed. Happiness, too. Just like that. They had both forgotten their real-life lovers. What will happen?
