Some... Times

Who are you, they ask?

By Vena MarshallPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

I am the daughter of three, and the mother of four. I am consciousnesses conscious, I am less... I am more. I ask and I answer, inquisitive and bright. I am the sun bringer of day and the darkness, bringer of night. The alpha and omega, the king and the queen. The first and the last, full fledged human being. I run and I walk, I sit and I stand. I hold the world in the palm of my hands. I take and I give, accept and deny. I yell in loud voices and ask the world whyyyyy? I cry and I laugh, I smile and then frown. Because sometimes I'm up but sometimes I'm down. I'm in and I'm out, I'm red and I'm blue. Because sometimes I'm me... but sometimes... I'm you...
