Kiss Me Apart

~

Into a hundred pieces, I want you to kiss me apart,

while I lay on the bed of your heart.

Then rev me up again when I start to idle,

race with me, race with me… wild.

I aspire to canoe down the canal of your highest hopes and fantasies.

Soaring high on the feathers of future’s mountaintop splendor and candor.

Surreal mist hangs on my shoulders and I hunch on boulders,

ready to pounce at the dawning day,

slashing at its sunrise!

This is electric! This isn't just a love poem; it's a reckless, heart-racing adventure.

The opening line has me sinking! 🫠 and then continued with the line, "race with me...wild." Ahh! Just beautiful imagery 😊
