Heartbeat

by Sam Harty

By ᔕᗩᗰ ᕼᗩᖇTYPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I feel my

pulse racing,

heart beating,

i can hear it

in my ears.

thud, thud, thud

the very minute

you appear.

your eyes

pull me in

as the air

begins to thin

we look in

each other's eyes

the fact I'm falling

for you should be

no big surprise.

This is comforting to me because it tells me that other people have felt some of the same things in matters of the heart. Great job :)
