Forest Invitations

Moment of Silence Acrostic

Sacred stillness resides in the forest, but I hear

invitations for me, floating on the wind and

leading me to a secret spot where

echoing wild calls bounce.

Near the ground, on a fallen log I sit, listening, beneath winter

clouds weighted with moisture begging to

escape

Our minds think alike it seems- I also went to nature for the idea of silence! It seems fitting somehow🤗 “echoing wild calls bounce.”- all this space for noise to go!

A delicate and evocative acrostic; I found the phrase "beneath winter" to be especially potent.

Beautiful and thought-provoking. I had a spot in the woods I could go to a long time ago. Really like the picture.
