Unsettling mixture

Earthquakes rattle from my chest

inconvenient at best

because I’m trying to get some rest

Silence the flowing capacious mind

before it puts my everything into a bind

hopes elope and make them hard to find

Words intertwine

as sweet-breath-flavored-wine

could it all be folly or is it a favorable sign?

Is it all tuning into notes of confession

this musicality form of obsession

the ideas are dancing in sultry procession

Stories of life’s greatest glory nods

and resilience that blossomed against all odds

learned to embrace my imperfections, instead of treating them as frauds

Stream of Consciousness

Great job. Fave lines are: Silence the flowing capacious mind and Silence the flowing capacious mind

You’ve created a vivid and powerful moment. Here we see disquiet followed by feelings of lost hope and perhaps discovery. Simply beautiful

i love stream of consciousness pieces. They are so free. And this one is gorgeous. My favorite line: Is it all tuning into notes of confession this musicality form of obsession the ideas are dancing in sultry procession. Exquisite piece.

The tremor isn’t a warning; it’s the ground adjusting to who you’re becoming.

Our minds are amazing places, and spiritual battlefields, which presents an unsettling mixture to begin with. Our imperfections are what make us us, and they're not always imperfections. To someone they're perfectly you. " God, grant me the Courage to change the things I can, The Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, And the Wisdom to know the difference." Amen. 😊🌸🩵
