Fingertips caress the screen,

Sunrise chats and moonlit calls,
Distance bridged by digital walls.
Selfie smiles and shared playlists,
Virtual touches, warm and sweet.
Unsent drafts confessing fears,
Tears in whispers, dried by cheers.
But longing lingers, whispers deep,
For fingers meeting, souls to keep.
A yearning dance on binary floor,
For love to bridge the digital door.
Yet, in this realm of ones and zeros,
Connection's flame still brightly burns.
For love takes root in many lands,
Held tenderly in data's hands.
