What will we have left,

after all the wars are won

in this brave new world we've razed?

Broken and bereft;

atom split and damage done.

What will we have left?

Humankind and kindness cleft,

now divided into one,

in this brave new world we've razed.

Masochistic theft;

milking that what's givings' done,

what will we have left?

Sisyphean weights we heft,

nursed on songs of glory sung

in this brave new world we've razed.

Higher hoist the windless wheft,

stained 'surrender' by the sun.

What will we have left

in this brave new world we've razed.
