I'm finding myself all tangled and tied
bending my roots just to keep me alive
gathering the warmth till my tears have run dry
knowing hello is another form of goodbye
cotton candy clouds mask the gray in your eyes
I wish your response would take me by surprise
but there is no escaping your sweet little lies
bleeding into the sunset and disguising your smile
I've heard it said, to be cruel is kind
whoever believes that is more dumb than blind
so don't say you're sorry, it's been said too many times
I'm done with that noise, time to leave you behind
when the sun rises tomorrow, I will be gone like the dew
with no lookin' behind me in my rearview
the sun will be shining, the day is brand new
better than ever, now that I'm done with you

Yes, how true and it is better just to move on if at all possible. Great job.
