What's New?
Hello everyone! It's been a very long time since I've posted an update. First off, I apologize to anyone who may have missed out on some of the amazing writing I've done over the years. The past few years have been hard on me and my family. My mother is in a long-term care facility in a completely different state, and there's been family drama regarding my lack of pregnancy, arguments about money, etc. Pretty much anything that involves changes, resulted in a fight. The second thing is, I went to nursing school! A huge change in my social and work life.

Rebel Heir: A Review
Rebel Heir is the latest installment in the Vancity Villains book series written by Jaine Diamond. Now, For those of you not in the loop, or who have not fallen down the rabbit hole of hot rock star romances, Mrs. Diamond is your gal. She created an entire series of books set in the same universe as Rebel Heir, affectionately referred to as the "Dirtyverse" beginning with the sizzling Dirty series and continuing in the Player's series. If sexy, brooding rock stars with only one thing on their minds are your cup of tea, then check out her other works here. Otherwise, buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Spin Cycle
It’s 10:15 pm, raining, cold and dreary. A typical night in Chicago in September. I’m on a metal bench sitting outside Wash 4 Coin on North Magnolia Ave, formerly Wash U Coin, until it got sold. After a good downpour, The air is crisp and clean. I love it. What ruins the mood is that I’m stuck doing about three weeks' worth of laundry on a Saturday. Long story short, the smell made me want to vomit. So here I am, with six sizeable trash bags full of my clothing, towels, bedding, etc., waiting for a washer to be available.

Talk to Me
This is part 2 of a collaborative piece done by my Facebook writers group: Saloon for Writers. We do these fairly often and they are lots of fun, challenge us as writers, and allow us to tackle an issue that's both informative and important. If you would like to see part 1 by Oredolapo A Roberts. Please enjoy this poem focusing on suicide prevention!
