Before you Pass

I just have to say my dear while it's on my mind that you won't be leaving me behind. I understand that this may be the last time we may speak but don't be saddened I won't be weak. I'll be strong for I have had you to carry me all along.

You say I was yours from the start but secretly you were mine. I knew it was you too that I would love the rest of my life. But me the stubborn person that I am didn't want to give in to you and your amazing love. See if I were to do that then it would make it way too easy for you and you and I both know that I love to watch you chase as I would try to run.

But you always caught me; then we would kiss and it would bring me back every time. Poetic and a hopeless romantic you always knew exactly what words to say and you knew I'd always melt with your charm and that shit eating grin from years of our youth.
