A Sonnet For My Mother.

For Mother's Day on May 11, 2025

By TestPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Our lives, two rivers flowing side by side,
Each twist and turn a mirror of the other.
In you, the echo of my steps reside—
I am your daughter, you, my first home: Mother.

You bore your trials with a quiet grace,
And I have worn that strength upon my skin.
In every fight, I see your steady face,
Your fire passed gently down from deep within.

If I could give you all the world, I would—
Its peace, its ease, its every breath of light.
And by God's hand, I’ll give what goodness could,
Until your days are gold, your dreams made right.

So fear no end—love never fades or dies.
We rise again, forever, side by side.
