Mind The Table.

Just A Dream.

By TestPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Be careful whose cake you take with a grin,

It might have secrets baked right in.

That frosting smile, that sugary cheer

Could mask a motive far from clear.

Be careful whose coffee you sip real slow,

Not every friend brews what they show.

A dash of charm, a stir of grace

But bitter truths may lace the taste.

Be wary where your water flows,

Not every stream with glitter glows.

Some cups clink with silent lies,

Beneath the toast, a plot may rise.

Not every party needs your plate,

Some feasts are dressed in twisted fate.

It’s better to cook your own delight

With herbs of peace and pots of light.

No, you're not dreaming too deep or wide,

This world’s a mist with truths that hide.

The meat may smile, the wine may gleam

But nothing here is what it seems.

So take your water, brew your tea,

Keep your meals cooked soulfully.

Trust your gut, not just the gleam

This life, my friend, is just a dream.
