dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Why Boxers are the Greatest Dogs
About seven years ago I was in a relationship with a female and we both decided we wanted to get a dog. My niece had put her purebred boxer male with another pure female with plans to sell them. I let her know as soon as I found out what she had planned, that I wanted one. When the puppies came I had my hopes up and was ready to pick one out.

Five Things I Learned from My Dog. Top Story - December 2018.
When I left my husband, I also had to leave behind my dog who I had rescued from the side of I-40 in Arizona. I was moving into a very small apartment that only allowed small dogs, and my dog weighed 140lbs.

Emma's First Snow Day
I awoke early this morning, "Snow!" I exclaim. "Today is Emma's first snow!" Gently I patted the sleeping terrier beside me brushing down her brown and black wiry coat. Sleepily she looked up at me with puzzled eyes. Bending down I scooped the bundle in my arms and carried her to the dog door.

Puppy Love
For as long as I can remember, I've always asked my parents for a puppy. It didn’t matter what kind, as long as it had paws, a tail and it barked. I first remember asking for a dog after I got a puppy game for my "Nintendo DS." I know what you’re thinking, who wants a responsibility as big as a puppy based on a game? But hey, I was only six! The feeling of a virtual dog satisfied me for a little while, but it’s not the same as having the real thing. Anyway, my parents always told me that I would get one when I was older, but I knew that was just code for, "Stop asking and go do some homework."

My Two Babies
Back in 2011, I came across an ad giving away puppies and it excited me because I had just gotten a place of my own and I was finally single again which I had not been in such a long time. I figured getting a puppy would give me someone to keep me company when I wasn’t working.

Puppy Journey: Renpet's Story (Pt. 2)
The death of a friend is never something that you think about. To watch your dog, cat, bird, etc...go through the grieving process after losing their best friend is even worse. You have no idea what is actually going through their head. All you can see is that he or she has not been acting the same and may even be shedding a few tears. Sometimes we can forget that they are well aware of the things that are happening around them.
