The Adventures of Kitty and Daisy
Liz was mourning the loss of her best friend Gingles. A beautiful collie husky dog that she had for many years. Her father adopted Gingles from the animal control as a puppy. Gingles had a unique look on her. She had beautiful thick long golden-brown fur with light brown husky and collie markings on her face and a white diamond on her chest. Gingles went everywhere with Liz, camping, and at one time when she was working out of a trailer for a bit, Gingles was right there by her side. When Gingles became older, she was in a lot of pain and could not walk up the stairs.

Potbellied pigs are loose in the streets!
You've seen all the posts online of celebs with teacup pigs. You've seen how girls go crazy over how adorable they are. After asking around, you discover they are pretty low maintenance and cheap to own, after the 1200-5600 dollar price tag, depending on your area. Excited, you do a search for a local breeder in your area, you connect and you buy yourself your very own "max 25 pound" babe magnet. The breeder informs you the pig only requires 1/4 cup of food a day and isn't anymore messy than a dog or cat and you think, "This is great!"

Emma's Adoption Adventure - And Tips For Your Own Adventure!
My boyfriend and I have wanted a dog for a very, very long time. We lived together in an apartment with no *new* pets allowed. Those who had pets already when this took place could keep them. So we were basically taunted when we would see them walking their dogs. Finally, we closed on a house in August of this year. One of the first orders of business, I knew, would be to get a dog. After applying through multiple shelters, both local and long distance, we finally got an appointment to see some dogs on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

Pet Mom
I am always asked do you have any children? I am 28 years and have never had human children. So my answer alwasy end up do pets count as children? For me, they do, I have a cat and a dog. Both fight like brothers and are just as crazy and destructive as a toddaler. The dog is ranging on hormonal teen though so I say pets count as children. Not all moms or dads can have children let alone the finacial stability to adopt human children. So if asked do you have kids? Say yes they are four-legged (Some times three-legged if something happened) and have fur and bark or meow. Be a proud pet mom/dad and talk all about your crazy four/three-legged fur babies. Yes, even birds and other animals can count. share those crazy stories of your cat scaring your dog or how your bunny stole the cat's food. Never know who would love to hear about your crazy fur family flaunt those babies with pride!

Adoption isn't always the Best
There is always controvery over the choices that people make. There is always that one person who can find the wrong in any decision that anyone makes. It is just in human nature to judge people on their actions in hopes of them making the "right" choice, in the eyes of strangers anyway. But there is always a phrase that floats around and everyone hears it at least once in their lifetime. "Adopt don't shop". What does that mean for people? This means going to shelters and giving a stray dog or abandoned dog the chance to have a good home with a family.

Zoey girl
I adopted Zoey girl as a rescue, fell in love with her almost immediately although there were some tense moments of hesitation. The border collie breed is extremely active and she acted like a puppy even at an adult age. I thought what am I getting myself into?! I didn’t know much about her, so we had to get to know each other. When I first got her, she was very active and full of energy. Mellowed out as she got older. Also learned that border collies are smart, oh she was. She was fairly easy to retrain . One thing I learned about her is that she prefers men, probably part of her history but Zoey and I still get along great.
