How to Actually Follow Through with a New Year's Resolution

Does It Offend You?
Sometimes we find people, comments or things offensive and we decide to react in a way that is not always becoming. Sometimes this turns into an argument or heated discussion. How to Love Yourself
I am a firm believer that one of the most important things in life is self love. You will always be there for yourself and it's not like you can break up. But the sad part about that is that mostly everyone at some point in life will fall out of love with themselves.

I work from home. That means I own my time, but at a cost: I am always lacking in motivation! At a traditional job you might have a boss grilling you and pushing you towards a deadline, but when you’re self employed that falls on you.

How to Manifest
Step 1: Find out what it is that you want to manifest. For many, this can be the most difficult part of the process. Make sure your desire is something that you most definitely want with absolute certainty, or you will waste your time and energy with conflicting emotions.

Making a Change
Why can making a change be so difficult and yet, we all seem to change so much year to year? Have you ever tried your hand at a new lifestyle or hobby or mindset and failed but then you look back on yourself a year ago and realise how much your life has changed? When I think back to the last year, the last 5 years, even the last 10 years, I have a hard time relating to the person I was. Things have just changed so much and I didn't even try.

The Unspoken Side Effects of Your Twenties
Your twenties are full of changes. Scary, fun, exciting, and anxiety provoking changes. And often times our control over those changes are extremely limited. I mean the chances of winning the lottery, limited. In your twenties you will probably face employment scarcity, career opportunities, pregnancies, weddings, life disasters, huge life milestones, and amazing new adventures.

Get Up and Rise
I wouldn’t say I ever had the “shine” part down of that whole, “rise and shine” thing growing up. Though, with the seasons of my life ever changing, so do my sleep patterns. Over the last couple of years, I've become more inclined to rise with the sun, enjoy my quiet time, and set my intentions for the day. This really developed in the fall of 2013, when I was embarking on a much less exotic, but just as muggy and invaluable, version of Eat, Pray, Love.
