Today You Are You
I am not sure who needs to read this today, but just stop. Stop comparing yourself to others, stop comparing yourself to who you used to be, and stop comparing yourself to those who are unoriginal. Basically, just be you, as you are an original.

What Is Your Destiny?
Fate is the idea that our lives may be bound to a fixed set of circumstances. That regardless of our actions, we don’t have much control over our lives because ultimately there is a plan that has already been put in place. There are many theories that exist, however, each of them rightfully open for consideration and discussion. Some may believe that deterministic physical laws of the universe are the governing power over our lives; that every single chemical reaction is predetermined to occur. Others may believe that there is a ‘God’ that has complete control or knowledge over what is going to occur. There has been no proven is no right or wrong answer, these are all only theories.

What I Learned About Myself Now That I'm 30
One thing I've learned from turning 30 is that all the self doubt, low self esteem, anxiety, and fear of what people might think is all just BS. All the stuff in my head that I lost sleep over was just not worth it.

Chalk
When I was a little girl, I’d go outside with my bucket of chalk all the time. I tried making pretty pictures, but would always get frustrated when things didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to. After a while I stopped drawing with it. I started destroying the chalk, pressing it into one spot of the sidewalk, drawing a single line. It made chalk dust. That was the “scientist” in me. I wanted to know what you could do with chalk if you broke it down into little, fine pieces. You can do so much with it. You can make new shade of chalk, you can make a paste to slap on the concrete, you can make a tinted liquid for more transparent colors.

Change
Imagine for a moment, that your life is exactly where you thought it would be. That plan you had—yeah, it played out. That dream you always wanted and worked so hard for, it came true. There’s a genie perched on your shoulder, granting you all your wishes, all your dreams. Take a step back, admire where you are. Now, look back. Back at where you came from. Is this how you imagined it would be? Is there anything missing? Are you the same person as you were when you made this dreams?

Sociology and the Self
Sociology. We have all heard about it to some extent, and maybe even studied it in secondary/high school. However, within a normal, day-to-day basis, we rarely give sociology any thought. Even in education, often times we are simply trying to tick the right boxes, meet a grade or match some pre-determined criteria. All of this is perfectly understandable, as education is never the end goal but merely a stepping stone to where we want to be. I am currently traversing said stepping stones, with fewer hours of sleep than you can count on your hand and a pasta driven diet, I can assure you it can be very difficult (and mean very difficult) to parse through the droning literature of a long gone Karl Marx or Auguste Comte. All of that, only to be told you need to jot down a multi-thousand-word document about it.

Explore
Hello, and thank you for stopping by. Let me start by asking you a question I like to ask people when I meet them. Are you alive? And if so, are you living? I guess that's two questions meshed into one. I ask that because a lot of us are alive, but not living our lives to the full potential! We don't explore what makes us happy to the max! Some of us are afraid to live... When was the last time you didn't worry about your job? When was the last time you took a vacation? Or better yet have you not taken a vacation, due to excuses of not having time or money? If so, do what I did that changed my life! Take stay-cations locally, while you save money for the big one!

How to Grow as a More Confident Person
As many may know, most of us have never been very confident in our lives. We often find ourselves overthinking of social standards that we ‘must’ meet to be accepted in society or to feel comfortable enough. But! That is incorrect, due to the fact that every one of us is unique in its own special way and therefore we can’t be the same as others and others can’t be the same as us. We must learn how to grow as a more confident person daily.
