Happiness, defined; things that help you find happiness, keep it, and share it with others.
How to take control of our happiness
Sacrificing our happiness Some of us are sacrificing our own happiness so that we can keep other people in our lives happy. We find ourselves calling a specific friend every day. If we do not call we know that our friend will be upset. We find ourselves year after year postponing that long-deserved vacation. Week after week, we sacrifice quality time with our family so that we can work longer hours. Why do we do these things – because we know that if we don’t, our boss will be upset.

You Are Enough
I am continuously inspired by others' selfish motives, to seek that which makes me content within my own self. However, the older that I become and the more that I learn from the lessons that I am meant to learn, I am beginning to see that there are those of us that are truly meant to be alone. This is not a thing to be looked upon negatively. I find myself thinking that I am one of the lucky few. I am becoming more aware of myself, and I am relying on others for emotional, mental, and spiritual affirmation, or stability, less and less every day.

Quietness and Humbleness... Are still important?
Where is the Substance? Why are extroverts spoken of at this time as stronger than those who are naturally reserved? Maybe the screaming YouTube or Tiktok superstars and their big fans have given people the wrong impression, but in the silence, there is an absolute form of strength that few take the time to get to know it.

"A life lived is a life decided" - Brenna
When you live the life you decide, you live with eyes open. Before entering into this journey with my fiance Cannon Outlaw, every morning was a rude awakening. My dreams seemed to be more intriguing to me than the life I was living. It was as if i was on repeat, never engaged in my decisions, never engaged in my interactions, totally detached until I closed my eyes once more for sleep.

Yes to NO, Yes to Difficult Conversations.
The year was 2017. I picked up Shonda Rhimes’ book Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand In the Sun and Be Your Own Person mainly because at the time I was very serious about becoming a working screenwriter and she was one of my favorite people working in that industry.

21 Ways To Live Happier
1) Life is such a precious commodity. In each day we are given we only have so much energy to expel. Choose where and when and why you choose to give your energy away. It shouldn’t be given to everyone you meet, remember to keep an excess for yourself.

KNOW YOUR WORTH
Lesson 1: Be positive always. Believe in yourself and always like yourself, be kind and true to yourself always. As confidence comes from within where it will shine on the outside. Be comfortable with what you see everyday in the mirror regardless of what you don't like e.g. Weight, Height, Appearance. Be proud of who we are no matter what others say whether it’s negative or positive. Be confident in all that you do to aspire in professionalism or personal goals, believe in having great relationships at work or in personal relationships. Without self belief and being positive it would be hard to know your worth and value.

Self Pride
What is pride? What does it mean to have pride? Sometimes you can feel like a non prideful person. There might be pride within, but pride seems like an association with the people you’re surrounded by. Its natural to feel overshadowed by the amount of pride that you are exposed to. This allows other ways to express yourself. I appreciate so many people that are able to show their pride in whatever way they do.
