5 Common Threads in Every Success Story
It's easy to look at someone who's done what you want to do — someone already successful —and think they must have talent, money, opportunity, luck, or some kind of crazy connection that normal people like us just don't have access to.

Spend Ten Minutes a Day Becoming an Idea Machine
Last year I read about this thing that James Altucher does. He has a habit of writing down 10 ideas a day. I decided to give it a try and it changed my life. It's been about a year and I feel like I've leveled up in a way that doesn't happen very often.

Purpose
Purpose. When we think of that word, what do we think? In the dictionary, purpose is defined as “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.” But there is so much more to that statement. For centuries, we as human race have always wondered what it all means. Why are we here? Is there a reason for our creation? It is something that has kept men and women awake at night wondering what it all could mean.

The White Belt Who Never Gave Up
There are many things about my adolescent years that I’d like to forget, like wearing the brands Tapout and Ed Hardy and using the word “sicknasty” unironically. The isolation I often felt in the hallways of my high school is another one of those things.

Keys to Growing Personally and Professionally
Sometimes I feel like an anomaly. I work a 9-5, run my own business, and spend my free time learning. You can be reading this to get some much-needed breathing space. It is binding to live in a way that is not your true self. There are times when I write in my journal and I think about the vast words of power, and yearning for those white pages of experience to be filled in my own life. Just like words written on a page, life has its warped edges, and sometimes, the scribbles share your perfect truth. Well if you are reading this like me, I am longing to find a new feeling other than racing my pen over pages to get that release out.

Do What It Is You Love
Wearing a 2 pc velvet outfit I made. You know when you are younger and you do something you think is so cool? Well and you totally fail and someone criticizes what you did or you just can never live that down. That really shook my confidence, I was always so nervous to show my true colors. I would hold back from everything because as soon as the opportunity came showcase something I was well at, those horrible things would come back in mind. Over the years, I’ve switched from job to job but one thing I’ve always wanted to do was model. I have always been fascinated with models for as long as I could remember. I can think back when I was younger and my mom would receive different Victoria Secrets catalogs, my skin would get goosebumps seeing Tyra Banks or Alessandra Ambrosio, who actually still graces the pages of the Victoria Secrets catalogs to this day! Music videos were a big influence for me as well! People like Michael Jackson who showcased models like Naomi Campbell, these things really set the tone for me.
