America First?
The American Dream is dead! There, I said it, but it's true. That dream of pulling yourself up by the bootstraps and making yourself unbelievably rich can still happen, but the foundation of this nation, the way it was formed and made through immigrants fleeing their countries to find their freedom and safety, is dead. Immigrants take the brunt of the blame for so many problems facing the lower class of the nation.

tired eyes.
I often feel judged by other people, but most of all by myself. As a kid, I picked myself apart; I may still be overwhelmingly self-critical. I want to devote myself to a sacred calling and a purpose that I believe in, but often I feel blocked and unable to do so. Or when I do accomplish something, it doesn’t feel like it’s enough. Even if I do everything right and exceed expectations, I often can’t enjoy it.

How Bad Do You Want It
That’s what I ask myself every single morning, “How bad do you want it!?” When I take out my planner and start asking myself the right questions, I am able to have more clarity in my life. More clarity of what goals I want to achieve and how to achieve them.

Organize And Downsize
Locked Up - They Won’t Let Me Out As we hear news in Richmond, VA that the city will be on lockdown until at least May 28th, 2020, some may feel discouraged. We may be forced to consider the fact that this date could be pushed back yet again. Whatever the reason, there’s no denying that people are eager to partake in activities outside of the home.

Quick Dirty and Wrong
Quick Dirty and Wrong For a long time I have wanted to start writing, not to write a book but to see what it does to my thought’s. According to people smarter than me writing is a form of thinking. A lot of people talk about the benefits of writing to clear the mind and even inspire new ideas and bolster creativity. I tend to have a messy and unstructured mind so I am interested to see what regular writing does to change this.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow
This is it. This is the time we've been waiting for. We all came into isolation without knowing what to expect. It was a new, challenging, uncertain time for all of us. We've worked hard, baked and cooked like there's no tomorrow, lounged, stayed at home, exercised, binge-watched countless series and kept our distance from each other. However, we are ready. Ready to face the outside world and be free from the four walls we've been in the past whatever weeks.

Expectation Beyond Isolation
Initially there were so many things I had yearned for when the isolation began to affect my well being. I was in constant longing for activities like getting bubble tea, hitting up Chiu Quon Bakery, going to my improv class at IO, and most importantly making money to be able to do those things. None of these desires have subsided, but they are no longer the bus driver on route to Freedom Town. What is navigating my post quarantine intentions now are the changes I have made in my life during these two months. I'm most excited to have the habits I've formed in quarantine exist in life outside of confinement.
