Hey, Is Anyone Listening?
I recently moved to London after living in Ireland for five years and travelling to 45 countries during the same time, something that I would love to write about some day. Although I will always love Ireland with all my heart, being a guy from South America, used to massive and quite chaotic cities, I was missing all the buzz from a big metropole and due to nothing seemed to be flowing anymore on the other side of the Irish sea, I thought this would be the best opportunity for me to make the big move. Well, here I AM! Living the dream in one of my favourite spots in the whole world. Well, am I really?

12 Feet Down
The triumph I felt crawling out of the pool early one morning last summer should probably be reserved for Navy Seals and Olympic champions. Nevertheless, I wrapped a soft, oversized beach towel around my body, inhaled the calming scent of chlorine and exhaled pure, unadulterated triumph.

Pondering on the Universe
Do you believe in destiny? What about miracles? Do you think that we are guided through life or that everything is simply happenstance? I used to think that this was just something that hippies and yoga instructors preached about. But I, being the control freak that I am, was sure that I was the captain of my ship. That I was in control. Right? Wrong. Well…kind of.

Take Back Your Power
How many times has someone made you upset, angry, broken your heart, disappointed you, or made you feel unloved or unworthy? It Is Okay to Fail
I dragged my aching body into my car and I tossed my bag on top of the passenger seat. The numb feeling that radiated through my whole body has become a common thing for me. It was like I expected to feel numb. Then, I released a scream that has been locked in my heart for days. I gripped the steering wheel as hot tears streamed down my face, like a waterfall.

My 10 Year Plan for the Future
Hopes for the Next 10 Years I have quite a few serious hopes I would love to be fulfilled within the next ten years. They all start with getting the most secured health insurance plan that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to pay for and help me get all the care I need with my autoimmune deficiency. Then I'd love to get financially stable so I wouldn't have to worry about having a roof over my head, food in my fridge, and clothes on my body. But, that would all mean I'd have a really good long-term job; it's not easy getting anything when you have no high school diploma, GED, college degree, or any other kind of proof of higher education. I also hope to gain a few friendships somewhere along the way, some long and some short, just enough so I'm not stuck with family all the time... Family can be nice and all but, after a while, I need some fresh blood in my social circle. And there's nothing more than wishing for my cat to live a good long life, at least 18 years—she's too special for me to lose sooner than that.

Look Around
Everywhere you go, people are burying their faces in bright screens, completely oblivious to the world around them. They are more concerned with what Karen ate for breakfast than what is occurring right before them. In a technologically advanced world, there is no doubt that people will continue to use their smartphones. But there is still hope for the concept of living in the moment.

How Surfing Changes Lives
It's almost a scene out of a movie. Maybe it's a guy with long golden hair as he walks out of the water, a surfboard tucked under his arm. He flips his hair as he passes a group of girls who peek at him over their sunglasses. Maybe there's a girl catching bigger, steeper waves out there than most of the guys, catching a sponsors attention.
