Vocal: The Rookies Guide to Writing
I am officially a month into my Vocal membership, and with 25 stories posted, I have no intentions of leaving the platform anytime soon. I have written more in the last month, than I had my entire high school career, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. As a fan of instant gratification, Vocal’s ‘one cent per two views system’ keeps me motivated much in the same way running while looking at donuts would. After being on the platform for a month, I have learned a fair amount about the company and would like to share it with you now.

Apartment living has its pros and cons. On one hand, renting gives you a lot of freedom to find jobs in different places and seek out promotions. It's almost inevitable to move around a lot when you’re early in your career.

How To Make Money On Vocal: Five Vocal Stories On How To Make A Profit
Vocal is an all-in-one platform where you can share your stories, build an audience, and earn money. This quote was taken directly from Vocal's website and it is uninhibitedly true. The only thing is how do you go about building that audience and earning money? Although receiving a cent per view is fantastic, it sure does take a long time before those pennies turns into real money.

Why to Join Vocal Facebook Groups, and Some Internet History
Once upon a very long time ago (over 20 years), there lived a website that paid writers a dime every time someone clicked on a link and read an article. This is a good deal, the writers thought. Maybe we could make a living with this new-fangled technology and stop having to pitch magazines and wait months by the mailbox for replies and rejections. And for a while, things went swimmingly. The writers wrote, the readers clicked, the website paid.

Blossoming In STEM... And Other Spaces. Third Place in Black in Business Challenge.
Yamila is a Dominican Republican who relocated to Canada to pursue her tertiary studies in Biology on a full scholarship. Suffice it to say, she has been making big waves ever since. Yamila Franco is a force to be reckoned with, and I don't mean that in a cliché way. I battled with writing this as I tried to decide how to do Yamila's story justice. I felt her list of accomplishments was too long to squeeze into just one article. Regardless, I chose not to pass up the opportunity to use a medium like this to share her achievements with the world. She is just that good.

Writers Should Be Using Vocal+
I very much doubt that I am the only writer this side of the universe or any other side for that matter that struggles to stay focused. A creative mind is a wonderful and beautiful thing but it has a tendency to buzz and run from one creative project to another. For the longest time I struggled to stay focused on any one writing project and even harder to stay motivated when I did. Writing like any other craft takes practise.

Why marketers are losers in the world of competitions
Vocal founder Jeremy Frommer’s celebratory story about growing the creative community to more than 20,000 Vocal+ members made much of the Challenges that have helped motivate them to keep writing, as well as attracting sponsors to pick up the tab for ever-more-lucrative prizes.

Sooo...are you like, a Vocal junkie?
Confession time: I have not always been an active Vocal member. I joined in April 2019 and posted one poem, Find Them. I didn’t post anything again until February 2020. The daunting number of balls I juggled during that period could have been considered an admirable safety hazard violation worthy of Guinness World Records status.
