More than 100,000 people filled the State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, to mourn the death and celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk—the 31-year-old conservative activist, commentator, and founder of Turning Point USA, who was tragically shot dead just days earlier.

Instead, I stepped outside, letting the cool air brush against my skin. The sky over Islamabad glowed in soft shades of gold and pink, and for 10 or maybe 15 minutes, I just stood there, breathing deeply.

Immersed in a Dream
I am a firm believer that dreams are messages. I woke up from a dream this morning that had utterly shaken me to the core. I had a dream I was drowning inside a video game world. It’s hard to explain, but you know those green warp pipes Mario goes into to go into another world? I was going into one, going to another world in my dream, but it was filled with water. I kept travelling through the pipe for what felt like forever but I was unable to breathe. And then I managed to force myself awake from the dream.
