Early days of slavery
The battle between slavery and freedom is the most engaging theme in African-American literature and history itself. Every American today possess the right of freedom, however the colonial period in the Old South followed a highly restricted code when it came to freedom, as slavery was at it’s peak during this time. African-American literature became a prevalent aspect during this time due to the controversial dialogue within its letters.

Name Search
My name is Kylecovey Miguel Smith, Graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. My name is made up of 4 individual names that were given to me by my mother and father. My dad gave me the name Kylecovey due to liking the name Kyle, and due to his admiration of the interpreter James Covey, the man for vouched and translated for the captured Mende Africans of the Spanish slave ship, La Amistad, and aided them into being set free in 1839. My mother named me Miguel because she was a big Michael Jackson, but she wanted to give a special touch to the name by using the Spanish version. Therefore, I was assigned the middle name Miguel. My last name Smith was automatically given to me because my dad’s last name is Smith.

A Commercial for Dog Food as a Top Story Sets a Very Bad Tone
Let me start by saying in no way should this post be taken as a slight against the author or the quality of the "story" linked here which describes the wonderous impact of the petfood Ollie on the health of Teddy the Hollywood dog. It also should not be taken as any sort of attack on Teddy who seems to be a very cute little guy and a fairly typical small dog based on the description provided by the author who calls him a "bundle of energy" and repeatedly mentions his "high activity level." Dog Teddy, it turns out, is an actor, and is much more well known and popular than human Dan, who is not. Ironically, Teddy, like many humans, also makes more money from writing on Vocal than Dan, but that is not saying much as $47.73 over the course of 1.5 year is a pretty low bar. Teddy was apparently underwhelmed by his former diet and looking to make a change to something more fresh, wholesome, and less processed. Enter Ollie brand pet food, a "small batch" premium pet food product that no doubt costs a small fortune, but apparently has had a positive impact on Teddy's behavior and appearance. Finally, this story is in no way intended to besmirch the good name of Ollie brand pet food, a pet food brand with which I have zero personal experience and even less actual knowledge. This article was in fact the first time that I had ever heard of Ollie brand pet food. Based on the glowing testimony of the author I have no reason to question the quality of the food which sounds as if it provides a more nutrionally balanced diet for your pet than I provide for myself.

Is the VAT Flat Rate Plan Worthwhile?
Is taking part in the VAT flat rate system something that would be beneficial? The value-added tax, sometimes known as VAT, is a system that has been optimized in order to help save unnecessary labour. You pay HMRC a percentage that is fixed in relation to your turnover that includes VAT rather than calculating the amount of VAT that you are responsible for handing over to HMRC by subtracting input VAT from output VAT. This is because you pay HMRC a percentage that is fixed in relation to your turnover. The nature of your business is the primary factor in determining the appropriate ratio.
