I'm Not a Writer; I Just Write
Phew! Let me just start off saying that this post, like many ones that consist of rambling thoughts but all, somehow, circle back into each other. This particular post is a deeper explanation on the idea of me identifying myself as a "writer" and this perfectionism idea that runs rapid through my head when I am approached with a question of "How do you identify myself as a writer?" Further, the question regarding my writing and my process still leaves me with responding in the most humble response I can muster.

Court Reporter: How Do I Become a Court Reporter?
The role of a court reporter is a crucial one. Trials, hearings, depositions, and other legal meetings are documented to maintain complete and accurate legal records of the proceedings. Court reporters are the ones responsible for creating this written record. Content in the written record may be used in further legal proceedings, may inform court orders that are issued, or may be used in an appeal or even another lawsuit. All courts maintain thorough documentation of all legal proceedings, which has spurred a high demand for court reporters. Court reporters may also be responsible for using the technology that provides closed captioning for individuals who are deaf so that they can follow proceedings.

MRICS Certification in India
An MRICS qualification demand in the Indian construction industry is high and valued by many construction firms all around the nation. Considering the development of the country, we can agree to assume that the country will require more skilled labour in the construction industry. India is the seventh largest country, and it lists as the second most populous nation; the increasing population in the country leads to employment and one of the sectors in the country that specialises and contributes to the economy is the construction industry. The Indian government is making plans to develop infrastructure and buildings, and to create innovative projects to increase the living standards of the country. Which means the necessity and the demand for construction professionals are growing. The importance of an MRICS will be highly recognised when the projects increase. As a result, quantity surveyors are also in need to deliver a quality project. The job role of a quantity surveyor is an essential part in any construction project; without a quantity surveyor (also known as cost managers) the construction team will not be able to manage, estimate, evaluate, and conduct cost valuation for the project. So without the required knowledge and skills, the candidates cannot become a professional quantity surveyor in the industry. Therefore, the RICS can provide the qualifications for the candidates to become a professional quantity surveyor.

In the past three years, I have been a temporary employee working for about three different temp agencies since I moved to Philadelphia from California. Some people like working as a temp because you only work in three month—sometimes, two day—increments, and it's always something different every time. And to be honest, I have a lot of experience now in various positions where I could technically put on my resume.
