Operation Good Table In my completely arrogant opinion, I think that stiffing a server is just about one of the lowest acts that a human being can commit that isn't already a crime. I put it right down there with trashing a public restroom as the hallmark of a low-class individual. It is, in my _still_ completely arrogant opinion, one of those things that point you up as lacking in social graces or indeed as lacking any knowledge or sense of the social contract as a whole. Lifeguard: Five Things I Learned From It
I live in the beautiful sunshine state, Florida. Compared to others, I may have gotten into the life-guarding gig a little late (I started at twenty-two), but I figure every person who lives in a state with beaches lining it up and down ought to try being a lifeguard at least once in their life. In the city of Orlando, there are a lot of water parks, and I happen to work in the newest one: Volcano Bay. Not only was I getting used to being a lifeguard, I also had to contend with the struggles of a major theme park opening. How to Deal with a Creative Block
Right now, I'm at the end of another creative block. I'm an amateur photographer and when I'm in the creative zone, I can take dozens of photos a day and the very least, feel satisfied with them, but when you're stuck in a creative block, it is difficult, you go through the motions, just crafting and curating your art for the sake of doing so.
