The Distinction Between a Corporate Bee and a Robot
When it comes to making money, I’m inspired by regular, everyday people often driven by their lucrative side hustles. There is fuel being added to that fire. There is passion, understanding, and the strive for bigger and better things. It brings me life. It conjures new ideas to continue perfecting an individual craft or planting a seed for an idea, where we nurture it enough so that one day it'll sprout.

How Outsourcing Your CFO Can Benefit Your Business
Outsourcing parts of a business can have some great benefits in general. These typically include reduced costs, expert assistance, and getting work done outside of normal operating hours. It’s common to see things like call centers, IT departments, and human resources outsourced to other companies. A department like accounting, or especially a position as important as the CFO, may seem a little unusual compared to those other options. The truth, however, is that outsourcing this position can reduce the time it takes to make big decisions, increase profitability, and lead to improved CFO advisory services.

Why Should You Be a Time Management Ninja?
Places to go (the office), people to see (clients and colleagues), deadlines to meet, and bosses to please. We spend so much of our work week stressed out, trying to finish our never-ending to-do list that it seems like there never seems to be enough time in the day for anything else. We put in so much effort into getting ahead that we often become guilty of letting life pass us by.

Breaking Your Word
I have written before about how people don't quit bad jobs, they quit bad bosses. (If you are interested in reading that one, click here) But what makes a boss bad? I wrote a few points to watch out for, that may be indicative that your boss is abusing your good nature. So for all the employees out there reading this, use this as a guide to help make the decision if you need to give your boss the finger. If you are the boss, then take a hard look at yourself and if you find yourself doing these things, then perhaps it is time to reevaluate your management strategies.

All the Reasons I Didn't Hire You
This is not a definitive list, and this is also just how I personally, as an HR professional, feel about things. Perhaps other recruiters feel completely differently, and following this will ruin your chances of ever getting a job, but somehow I doubt it. The thing is, when you stare at resumes for a living, and talk to probably 100 candidates a week, you start to notice patterns. Not so much in the way people behave, but in your own prejudices on how you will perceive those behaviors. Just in the same way that I, as a person who suffers from sound sensitivity, will be more likely to be annoyed by a person who pops their gum, other small mundane habits wouldn't bother me if they didn't pop their gum. Maybe I am alone in this, but memes I have seen have led me to believe differently. Either way, I thought I would share them with you all, just in case we ever cross paths professionally, and you decide you want to work for me. (It is a pretty great place to work, and I hear their HR Director is really smart!)
