The Violet Project Diaries - Entry 3 - Kill Your Darlings (or torture them)
Today, I’m a bit off due to a weird night, which means I gotta be real with myself and take it easy without slacking off. When I’m like this, I head to YouTube and look for great videos that discuss or critique storytelling. I keeping getting “How Bojack Horseman Subverts Narrative” recommended to me so I watch it.

Working abroad for the first time...
Rewind to September 2012, I randomly decided to apply for Camp America (quite literally) I applied on a whim not knowing anything about it at all. I paid the £69 and created my profile. TIP: You may want to start applying in and around this time or a little later as the camps usually start around June but you have a lot of things to do before then! I knew thousands of people applied every year. Having no clue what I was signing up for I applied and got an interview. YAY. In all fairness I was terrified, it was in a man’s house in the middle of Wednesbury (I thought I was going to die, as did my mum and friends at college) I arrived and the house was okay looking, I knocked and this lovely gentleman answered the door and invited me in. Really funny as when I was growing up I have always been taught to take my shoes off going into someone’s house out of respect or something. So as I was taking my shoes off he turned, looked at me, and laughed so hard he was almost crying. He asked me what I was doing and said there was no need to take them off. How to find work during COVID-19 outbreak?
Our economy has severely been impacted by the Corona Virus outbreak. Many people have received a letter that there jobs are no longer standing which is heartbreaking. Our government has spoken we will not be extended the extra $600 a week for the unemployed from July to January as what was proposed and no pending work of universal basic income. I understand jobs in the market may fall short but there is temp and on-demand work if anyone is interested which you can choose your own hours. The though of the fact that many workers will have no alternatives is really quite sad so I made it my mission to hunt down ways of finding employment in these troubling times. Please Help me support my page so I can continue to learn more way to keep helping those in need. Depending on the app(s) you choose W-2 or 1099 status may vary some employers may even offer both. Not to worry its not just gonna be Uber and Lyft. Which don't get me wrong are great apps but not everyone likes driving people around place to place or trust strangers to sit in their cars which is completely understandable.

Starting From the ground
We all have to start somewhere with career or jobs, even hobbies of some sort. So let's say you want to start a business of your own. To start off, we need to brainstorm ideas for a great business. For me I chose to build a Event management business, which means organising, planning, setting up the event, and cleaning up after the event. I have come from the hospitality industry, so using the skills I gained from the hospitality industry. So building on those skills, in the event industry.

Why do business owners need insurance?
Many people are going into business with the hope of being very successful by providing a highly demanded product or service. An owner must make business insurance is a requirement. In some states, it is mandatory, with established minimum requirements. You never know, the winds of a downturn in business, whatever the reason, bring immediate misfortune, but it can be minimized by having an active business owner's policy.
