So, for instance, English-speaking movies can entertain and serve a vast audience, allowing their film production industries to develop considerably. Similarly, other languages groups like Arabic, Spanish and Chinese also have well-developed film industries. The same goes for the French, which also have a large population that consumes content in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Africa, and Canada. All these French-speaking communities and cultures enjoy watching French productions.

An Interview With Andrew Jara, Director of “The Last Ones” on Amazon Prime Video
In El Paso, Texas, resides director, writer, producer, editor and podcast host Andrew Jara of Jara Films, most known for his feature films “The Last Ones” (2012) and “Borderland” (2016), available on Amazon Prime Video. Currently, his 2020 cosmic horror film titled “The Empty Space” is in the works with distributors, making its way through festivals and most recently brought home the award for Best Feature Film at the 14th annual Sacramento Horror Film Festival. Filmed entirely on Zoom due to pandemic-related restrictions and the recommendation to social distance, Jara completed a two-cast member short horror film in August called “Wellness Check”, starring Katherine Smith-Rodden and Adam Bussell, which is scheduled to become watchable for the public on Wednesday, March 17 on YouTube.

An Interview With Jason Zink, Director of “Straight Edge Kegger”
When he’s not working his 9-5 as a job developer, Jason Zink is running a punk rock film house with some three productions under its belt. Zink, owner of Weird On Top Pictures, was formerly employed as an English teacher, though, currently assists others in the construction of their resumes, conducts mock interviews, and is the writer and director of the coming soon to Shudder thriller/horror film “Straight Edge Kegger”. The film has received much acclaim from its many appearances at festivals and overall has performed well, garnering 13 wins including the Jury Prize for Best Feature at the Halloween International Film Festival and Best Actor from the Houston Horror Film Fest in 2020. Keeping overhead low and working alongside a small-scale crew, Zink completed the film that once released its own collectible toys and currently has a VHS Mystery Box on sale from Rotten Rentals.
