The Letter of Latter Reflection

A Letter to Me, by Me for 2021

Dear 2021,

Listen...ok? Listen! I am very much not interested in repeating 2020!! It had wonderful points that have permanently blessed my life, but the global chaos and financial rollercoaster that ensued...really can leave. No one has time for the foolishness! If 2020 was a man, I'd disrespectfully kick him where the sun doesn't reach, and hit him in the head with this laptop I'm using!

Health must be made a priority!

We as human beings have truly been enslaved by our taste buds, and I am fighting (successfully if I may say) to BREAK FREE! Cheese must be consumed only if vegan, sugar has to be drastically minimized (or just cut off), and processed foods have to be eliminated! The country has fallen deathly ill to diseases that rape the body of its vitality, and I assure you, our diet has been a massive force in that regard. Whether speaking on the keto diet, veganism, vegetarianism, pescatarian eating, or any other diet type, I recommend that I find what is most suitable for me, and stick to it. I kind of love living, don't you? In that case, let's eat to live.

Exercise...a lot...please. It feels amazing to sweat after a hardcore workout! The endorphins, the adrenaline, the confidence, the satisfaction, and the muscle fatigue are invigorating!! You love to sweat! Besides, remember when you hit 35, and said that you want your six pack abs to be visible by 40? Right! So uh...you'll be 37 this year sir, and there's a beer keg sitting on top of your abdomen! YOU DON'T EVEN DRINK!

Maintain your peace!

Confident, Relaxed, and Fulfilled by Jose Wright Jr. (2019...I believe)

This man on this day felt fulfilled, while today...I feel torn between two points. This isn't a rock and a hard place; this is more like titanium, and Jersey City concrete. The good thing is, I can set my eyes upward towards the sun, and as challenging as things seem, it's the people who've got access to you that matter! Your circle, those who you call brother, friend, etc., will either lift you to the heavens, or watch you get run over by an 18 wheeler. CHOOSE YOUR INFLUENCES WISELY! You cannot let everyone too close! Being nice, kind, and polite are beautiful traits to possess, but not everyone values your growth potential, or promising vision. Please, for the sake of your sanity, maintain your peace (by any legal & morally ethical means necessary)!!

You've been dreaming for awhile now, and planting seeds. It's time for the harvest!

Seriously, how much dreaming can a person do? That's a silly question, because I actually (day) dream a whole lot! My dreams during sleep are sporadic and random, but day dreaming is second nature. What these dreams may consist of, depends solely on what runs through my mind regarding interests, and experiences. If my past thoughts are any clear indicator, I know that a large portion of my dreams involve writing. Song writing, poetry, and article/blog writing are so filling, but this manuscript needs to get done (and published)! I'm also tired of not seeing songs I've written sung by recording artists. This year we execute plans! This year, we MUST make dreams come true!

The company has to take off!

Dr. Ink Wright LLC is my baby! You did that sir! You created a company, work for you alone, and got registration documents, handled logo copyright measures, etc. We have to produce successful marketing strategies, because you need clientele! What have we been doing before this year began, that doesn't work but is still being implemented? What do we have to introduce to our routine, that'll ignite the company's clientele growth, and potential income spike? Talk to other writers, editors, authors, proofreaders, etc. Get...it...done.

Financial Security: I've got to get this thing down packed!

"Cash rules everything around me. CREAM get the money! Dollar dollar bill y'all!" - Method Man

While being able to comfortably afford a 2020 Dodge Viper sounds like an excellent idea, I would NEVER actually buy one! I just want to be able to afford it. I'm not the excessive spender by any means, but I want to have the capacity to spend frivolously! The reason for me is quite simple; I have dreams that I want to happen...yesterday!

One of those dreams is buying a decent, quality SUV, that has plenty of time on its hands...er transmission. Another one is marrying my Queen (who I refuse to label a girlfriend), and ensuring that expenses pertaining to our building of a life, isn't a hefty struggle. Truly impacting & changing the poverty statistics in New Jersey, is another dream I commonly have. "The richest country in the world" is baffling me, and shouldn't have as shameful a poverty issue as it does.

In conclusion

2021, you've got to treat me better than 2020. You can't give me a few great moments (and they definitely hold impactful pillars in my life now; thanks for that 2020), and tarnish the rest of the time spent with me. That's just unfair, unnerving, and mean....meanie! We can create a unforgettably comforting experience, and bring prosperity & love everywhere we go. Let's try that, ok? I will not forget this letter.

I command you to be good to me, 2021!

Sincerely,

Mr. Wright
