Whether written centuries ago or just last year, literary couples show that love is timeless.
Kevin's Homecoming
CHAPTER FOURTEEN Present Jordan Brown sat behind his desk and appeared to be meditating. The office was dark except for the single lamp on his desk. The ballast was weakening and caused the fluorescent light to buzz and crackle as it flickered. His hands folded together as if in prayer while both his pinky fingers tapped nervously on the aged wood surface. He drew in a deep breath and reached out to push the intercom button.

The Devil Wears Lula
It was a day just like the last 4 years. He woke up, she was already awake sitting on the couch with her Lula on. The house was in shambles and she was sitting down watching tv. He shook his head in annoyance and went to start the dishes. The dishes were stacked, she was suppose to have done them two nights ago but had always put them off. Being annoyed with the mess he started to do the dishes himself. The days went by one after another all blending into one big ball of gray. The only thing that usually lit up his day was his daughters. The oldest was a little angel. She had suffered from a sickness in the womb and came out on top of it. She was a couple years old now and her terrible twos didn’t even really occur. Her baby sister who had just been born the year prior in her mom’s arms sleeping. Once he was done with the dishes he made sure to dry off his hands and play with the oldest.

Kevin's Homecoming
Present Kevin wiped the sweat from his forehead. The sun seemed unusually warm for late March. Thin, wispy clouds raced above the tops of the pine trees, promising neither rain nor shade. He worked diligently in the garden, pulling at the last weeds and vines from the soil.

The Café
In a cafe so small & chické, I stand near the fire warming my hands. The cold winds become so loud the doors start to clap as if someone is banging to symbols together. Contemplating my next move, someone walks up to me with a kitchen vest. “Do you need anything sir?” He asks. “Yes, I’ll have a salted caramel hot chocolate. Thank you”

CHAPTER 1: “Would you like to drive then Rosalyn?” I woke up to the sound of my parents arguing over the directions. Something they’ve been doing on road trips for as long as I can remember. I look over at my sister Lilli who is still sound asleep, despite all of the action going on around her. The sun peeks in between the clouds, and shines on her bleached blonde hair. I wish she could stay this innocent forever. I’ve always envied that about her. She always says she wants to be just like me, but I want so much better for her. My thoughts of Lilli drift away as I'm interrupted by my mother calling my name.

Kevin's Homecoming
Present The morning rush hour found the coffee shop in Houston, Texas busy with customers. Bill Harrison ignored the jostling of patrons at the sales counter. He scanned the political section of the Austin Journal to see what his rivals were up to. The server who worked the floor seemed to always be just outside the edge of the paper he was not reading. He watched as she served guests at the other end of the shop, praying desperately that she leans over the table away from him. His cellphone buzzed, and he answered just as the woman leaned just enough that he could admire the back of her legs for a moment.

Kevin's Homecoming
Present The Greyhound bus was loud inside, and the ride was rough. There was a bratty kid on one row yelling at her father for not giving in and buying her candy at the previous stop. It did not matter how many times he told her that there was no more money, she still harangued him for the missed purchase.

How to Date a Celebrity
Your POV I was getting ready to do my morning routine for my days off. I had no shoots to do and no casting calls to go to. I was free to laze around. I start making coffee for myself and turn on the radio as I do. I hear my phone buzz and glance at it, seeing that it was my "boss" aka best friend. I ignore it and grab my mug from the top cabinet. I pour my coffee until I hear my 7 Rings ringtone play. I pick it up and see it was my best friend calling. I answer with an attitude.

Visions Of A Blood Moon
Dear Friend, I wanted to share with you an excerpt of a story I plan to finish one day that I have dubbed The Chronicles of Night. This is the first view we get of the characters Rainn and Pyrrha. They are not a human couple as you will see, however they are also not what one might initially think. They are one of my favourite character pairings in all my stories. My OTP as one might say.
