friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"

I've always dreamed of being popular in school, especially in high school. Being situated at this school and upgrading my friend circle throughout the end of junior high was pretty wicked. Plus my sister already graduated and I did not have anyone to have lunch with once she left. She was two years older than me and she wasn't into the social world. Since then, I have taken credit for my popularity after my breakup with George; the loser drummer boy who was in a band whose beats were similar to Blink-182. Best of all, my sense of style began to change thanks to Sarah Wills. She was the most beautiful brunette in our school and her $150 manicure couldn't agree more. Her parents owned ten to fifteen properties across the states which four of them were vacation homes. One situated in Vail, New York City, Miami, and Malibu. She also admitted my looks were a knockout if I could loosen the glasses and my cleavage deserved to be shown in outfits more since her purpose was to have an attractive crowd to remain exclusive. I can't blame her. Overall, she sat next to me in Algebra II and World History Class and decided to sit next to me ever since I got introduced by our Algebra II teacher the very first day of being a Junior. Apparently, I gave an attitude to one of the cheerleaders interrupting my introduction and she clearly loved it. Clearly, I don't recall the lines I've used but she made the impossible possible by seating next to me in those two classes. As I gain popularity with the help of Sarah, I end up signing up for the cheerleading squad but something in me stopped me from joining as I find the cheerleaders being unwelcoming and obnoxious, so I end up leaving the tryouts early. While I walk out from school that afternoon, I see my ex, George, walking hand in hand with his new girlfriend, who replaced me. Her name was Allison and she was in the Art Club. Their club meetings were after school and coincidentally we all came out at the same time. Of course. I immediately yanked my cellphone out of my purse and pretended I was on the phone. Obviously, everyone reading this would do the same out of embarrassment.

6 Types of Apologies You Should Not Accept from Anyone
The point of an apology? People always say that you should think before you speak or think before you act. However, there’s only a handful of people that actually do this. Some of us go on with our lives saying and doing whatever we want based on how we feel. It is after that fact, we may choose to apologize for our actions. The whole point of an apology is one, to recognize your wrongdoing and how your words or actions impacted the person that you hurt. Second, is also to learn from your mistakes and try your best not to do that again. Nowadays, people say and do things then, later on, try to apologize to someone or to the public for what they’ve done only to go back and do it all over again. We see this happen all the time in our everyday life, in social media, in the news, it happens everywhere. However, not every apology should be accepted and the transgressors should always face any or all consequences that may come as a result of the pain they inflicted on others. I’m going to go over the types of apologies that should never be accepted no matter what. When anyone decides to use one of these apologies, you will then know that they are just full of it. In addition, avoid interacting with these people in any way. After all, if they are not remorseful for their actions once, chances are they will be more likely to try and do the same thing to you again.

Vanessa
High school... What a weird time for me, huh? Met some interesting people in all three of my years and some people were more unique than others. I had a crush on a few gals along the way but when it comes to the gals that I knew, there has and never will be another gal that I've met like Vanessa, sometimes I'd call her Van for short, who's probably one of the most lovely gals I'll ever know.

She Was Never a Friend to Me
Some people say that friends last forever, they are with you through thick and thin, good and bad, the great times, and the worst times. I’ve had friends that stuck with me for years, and then I’ve had friends that have stuck with me for months, waiting for the moment shit went south and gave them a reason to cut ties. It’s a known fact that losing a friend hurts worse than a breakup. I’ve had my share of broken friendships and let me tell you, it feels like my heart was stabbed repeatedly.

A College Moment
No social media. The term didn't exist. What did exist was Mr. E's, "Say it out loud. You'll hear it, mystery." He lived off campus and was a tall interesting looking man who always seemed to wear the same colorful checkered flannel. Whenever you walked past him or found yourself in his presence, you were mesmerized. He said unthought-of things; "Weed will be legal some day. Don't forget to pay your supplier." Or he wouldn't say anything at all and captivate you with a sight of hand magic trick and then walk away. He seemed to always be walking away. Almost as if he lived off the suspense of wondering what you would have said in response to his awkward, yet captivating interaction.

People We Can’t Forget
We meet thousands of people in our lives. We sometimes hate them or sometimes feel like we’re walking on clouds while talking to them. In every way, people are one of the most important things in a human’s life. However, some of these people we’re referring to might be more important for us than the others. They either might be our best friends or members of our families. Whoever they are, there are probably specific reasons that give them that great privilege.
