Bluffy the Vampire Slayer
People don't always say what they mean... either they say what they think we want to hear or they create a facade to make themselves look like they're something they're not. All these fronts and disguises just makes it that much harder to really get to know someone, especially someone who you may want to potentially get into a relationship with. Ladies, how many times have you been with someone you thought was perfect, and then six months down the line you ask yourself what crack you were smoking to make that kind of a decision? And let me tell you, your crack habits are completely irrelevant at this point. It has nothing to do with you at all. The guy's mask just comes off and you see someone completely different, someone you don't even recognize... You see the person behind the mask.

How I Ended Up in a Long Distance Relationship
It is true when they say the most unexpected but most amazing things can happen when you least expect it. Relationships have never been my thing and I have never been in one before, due to my fear of commitment. The thought of being tied down always scared me, so I was in a series of “we-almost-dated-but-didn’t” type of relationships. It would go like this: guy shows interest in me, I show interest in guy, we start talking, guy tries to get serious, I lose interest, become distant and slowly take myself out of the equation altogether. I know, the entire thing sounds super cliché, but that’s how it always went. But as I got to know my current boyfriend even more, everything I thought I believed in completely changed.

It's Been Two Days
You know when you get the enormous rush of feelings? Oh, just a hurricane coming straight at you and the only thing you can do is run. But no, no, NO, running is not an option here because the hurricane is much faster than you and it will swallow you up.

Mum, I'm in Love with a Gaslighter
Names have been changed to protect identities of people in this story, but everything is raw and real. I am telling this story on behalf of a very close friend. They have given me permission to tell their story as my first article as they feel it is important to recognize someone may be a victim of gaslighting regardless of age or gender.

Signs a Shy Guy Likes You
When it comes to shy guys, it's actually pretty hard to tell if they like you or not, because they're just so quiet! They're not like most guys who are very outgoing, loud, and straightforward if they like someone. But I have to admit, shy guys are pretty cute. You can just tell how innocent and caring they are... not so much innocent (sometimes), but they certainly do care for those they love. Even though they don't say much, they hold so many thoughts and secrets that you would never believe. After talking to a shy guy for a while, you might leave thinking he's actually not that shy.

Six Years Ago
Six years ago, it really has been a while but yet it only seems like yesterday I was walking around the hallways of a new school starting out in grade ten. High school, a terrifying time for an introvert such as myself. I used to get high just to mask how scared and alone I actually felt. Plus the only friends I had when I started at this new school were stoners anyways. I fit in with them, since they were sort of outcasts like myself.

I Moved to a Different Country for Love
Long distance! Many people have/ have had a long distance relationship, including myself. I was in one for a little under a year. It didn't end though. I made a life decision based on it, revolving around it. It was the most important thing in my life.

Forgiveness In Relationships
Have you ever been in an argument before with your friend or partner? If so, raise your hand. From the looks of it, it seems like it’s nearly impossible to get into a relationship without getting into some form of conflict at one time or another. This makes me wonder why we choose to step into these kinds of relationships at all in the first place. While everyone may have differing opinions, I believe that life would be utterly boring without having other people around to share our experiences with.
