Annabelle and Robert
Annabelle: This doll was famous before the Conjuring series came out, thanks to the late couple Ed and Lorraine Warren. However, that movie series really shot her into the mainstream and is now famous beyond the occult community. That being said, the fictional glass doll’s real Raggedy Ann counterpart might be a little bit more terrifying. Especially given the fact that a lot of the stuff that happened in the original home was caused by a Raggedy Ann.

Route 19 Has No End
I was the only passenger left on the bus. The others had trickled off one by one—college kids with backpacks, an old man who tipped his hat to no one in particular, a woman in a puffy coat who muttered “wrong stop” before disappearing into the fog. By midnight, it was just me and the driver.

Midnight Conversations with Shadows
Midnight Conversations with Shadows The apartment was quiet—or at least, I thought it was. It began the first night I moved in. Boxes were scattered, the smell of fresh paint still hung in the air, and the city hummed softly outside the window. I was unpacking books when I heard it: a faint whisper, just beyond the corner of the room.

Welcome to the Hotel Canfield
"Dude, this is epic!" Cole's dazzling hazel eyes boggled out of his skull, his pale, freckly cheeks stretching in an absolutely giddy grin. The seventeen-year-old hadn't even gotten out of the car yet, and he was already about to wet himself from excitement. Just seeing that look on his face almost made this entire, crazy idea worth it.

The Apartment Above Me
I moved into 4B at the end of October, when the air was cold enough to sting and the trees outside were little more than crooked black lines against the sky. The building was old—brick walls pocked with history, pipes that clanked like they had opinions. My friends warned me about the quirks of older apartments, but I wasn’t prepared for the first thing I noticed my very first night: the noise from the apartment above me. It wasn’t just footsteps—it was pacing, like someone walking in slow, deliberate circles.

The Library of Unwritten Streams
Sasha had been streaming on Twitch for two years, with little to show for it besides a few loyal followers and a collection of half-finished playthroughs. So when a new user, “Archivist_00,” dropped into her chat one night and whispered, “You’ve been invited to The Library,” she assumed it was a joke. But the link they posted led to a login page that looked oddly like Twitch—except the logo was a black book instead of a purple chat bubble. Against her better judgment, she clicked.
