This is a verified unaltered photo taken in the middle of the day using an iphone. (Hawaii, summer 2019) HISTORY The custom home was built general contractor who lived out his life in the home and eventually died there, in his bedroom on the 2nd floor. The home was then passed down to his son who allowed it to become a trashed party house. This must have angered his dead father because he began haunting the house. The house soon became known for having a very angry ghost in it.

Quarantine 2008
Spoiler alert: I will be talking about what happens in the film and how it ends. With so many films to choose from, If there is one film that I feel left me scared for days in October 2008, it would have to be the film Quarantine. It is an American found footage horror film directed and co-written by John Erick Dowdle. The film was a remake of the Spanish film REC which came out in 2007. (Which let me tell you, was just as scary, but some-what funny because hearing the actors yelling and screaming profanity in Spanish was funny. English is my first language.) But let’s get back to talking about the film Quarantine 2008.

As horror enthusiasts, we all know how to spot an upcoming jumpscare. One horribly unpleasant tone increasing in volume, eerie violin music fading in, a first-person perspective from around a doorway, watching the character stare into seemingly empty darkness... We've learned to recognize the signs, and with such, we've learned to prepare ourselves for these scares. We've developed an immunity, in a sense. Jump-scares are something that attack our senses on a primal level, and thus we adapt on an equally primal level, learning and memorizing patterns.
