Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Where the Souls Go
Where the Souls Go Between the bridge of life and death, do you ever wonder what lies on the other side? Do you ever wonder where your soul goes? The town of Lunar is best known for their forest, the Forest of Souls. It is said, that when a full moon hangs in the night sky, lost souls rise above to walk the Earth. Most have said they have heard sorrowful cries for help at night. Legend has it that the last soul to walk the earth belonged to a maiden named Lucy. Lucy had lived in the town of Lunar all her life. When Lucy was a child, her mother warned her not to go near the forest on a full moon. Lucy never stepped foot within the forest since then.

Who Are You?
At first it felt like nothing more than a rare phenomenon, maybe a slight obsession with the idea that something special was happening to me. I am unique, chosen perhaps. But it didn't take long for those thoughts to exit my mind the more she appeared to me. She has no name, no clear face, she barely even has a personality. She's just always there. The moment my head hits the pillow and the dream-filled slumber takes over, she's there. Waiting for me. Itching to bombard my mind with questions of why? Who are you? What do you want from me? Yet there is never an answer in sight.

Them
Part One: The Night Diary Entry: Saturday June 10 My eyes burst open. I lie still for a couple of minutes I’m staring at the ceiling. Sweating, I know that I am not alone. I can feel eyes on me. They are in the room. Something is in the room. I’m now unable to move. I can’t even turn my head. I can’t look down. I feel the sheet start to pull down. I’m sure that this is it. The sheet is almost all way off now, trying to scream but no sound comes out. The silence is deafening. The sheet is gone now and suddenly I’m able to move. It’s light outside the window… What just happened?

The Shadow Puppet
Phasing out the film that I had watched probably over a hundred times, I began to focus on my shadow which was flickering on the wall directly behind me. I raised my hand and my shadow mirrored my actions. I began to create shapes using my hands and body movements, a swan, an elephant, and a dog. I turned back around, loading up Pokemon on my Gameboy and continued to play when suddenly the power cut out.

Two Sentence Horror Stories Part 1
I have been a fan of horror ever since I was a young child. I found the stories fascinating and loved the thrill the films gave me. In addition, I also read many online stories, which fueled my imagination. I began to write short two sentence stories, and I would like to share them with you all. I hope you enjoy them!

Cold
Wolfen claws or Dracula fangs didn't scare me. Things that went bump in the night, I ignored. The nether-beasts howling their agony from below didn't phase me. The wolfen were an urban legend, meant to scare youngsters. The vampires feared my name. The animated dead; those rotted corpses that hell didn't want, avoided me. At my name, they shrieked in terror, begging to be free of what I might do to them.

The Reaping
The Reaper I first met the reaper when he came for my hamster. I watched as the doorknob slowly turned and the door creaked open. I was expecting Jane, my caretaker—if you could call her that. But it was not Jane. Definitely not Jane. A very tall, skinny figure peered into the room. It crept quietly across the floor to the hamster cage and reached in.
