There was only one rule: don't open the door.
It was October 31st, the night of Halloween.
I thought my friends were joking when they told me not to open it, because tonight was the night when friends played spooky jokes on each other, so unknown to them, I opened it anyway.
I stepped into the forbidden room, which according to my friends hadn't been entered in over a thousand years. As soon as I took my first step, the noise of Gunshots and Warplanes was deafening. I fumbled to find the light switch in the dark, and I shut my eyes afraid of what I would see. The noise was so loud that I had to cover my ears to block the horrific sounds.
I stood on something that crunched beneath my feet. I opened my eyes to see blood dripping down the walls, and notes that screamed 'End this war now!' covered the walls.
I heard screeches and screams then the door shut behind me.
"Please Sir; we must win this war," a voice shouted.
I picked up a gun without knowing it, and before I could stop what was happening I fired.
On the night of October 31st, I was fighting a war from the past that no longer existed, and I didn't make it out alive.
