Why I Will Live Up to 100 Years - Mr Ibu

Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known to his fans in Nigerians and worldwide as Mr. Ibu is by far one of the most beloved and most iconic actors in Nigeria. From starring in blockbuster movies like Police Recruit to 9 Wives, Mr. Ibu, Mr. Ibu in London, and more, John Okafor has brought laugher into the homes of many people.

Now the beloved actor and comedian is celebrating a new milestone. Recently, John Okafor turned 61 years old!

To celebrate and thank his fans who have been at his side over the years, John Okafor recorded an intimate Instagram video which he posted in which he opens up about how he intends on living to a 100 years.

Here's what John Okafor said about living to 100 years and what he also said about how he continues to keep going and keep looking good.

Taking to his Instagram to post the celebratory video, John Okafor said in the video which I've linked below:

It's another God sent day for me. I have completed 61 years. Jesus, I can't believe this. Are you serious? My mother died at 90/91 years and I said I was going to go 100 years.

It's by God's power not by any man. I don't know what is going to happen when I get to 100 years but I know that I want to leave a history in this country. I want to leave a history in this country before I die. All Nigerians, anybody that sees me, I wish you good age. Ripe age. I wish you good luck for any business you're doing. I wish you good friends, wonderful friends, that would be material to your person as you live. My name remains John Ikechukwu Okafor.

When speaking about how he continues to keep going and keep looking good, John Okafor while speaking to Inside Nollywood said:

Persistence and true spirit of sportsmanship have kept me on. Aside that, I’m also sweet in bed, I am good and very proud of myself. Try me and you will be amazed. I deliver very well. I can drive women crazy. People keep asking the secret of my good looks, but the fact remains that I don’t take alcohol or sugary drinks. I don’t smoke. I also don’t take carbohydrates. I live on vegetables and smoothies. All these keep me going and looking very healthy.

It's so good to see John Okafor still looking boisterous, strong, and healthy all these years later. 61 really looks good on him and I wish that every expectation of his including getting to a 100 years comes true in his life. Happy Birthday John!!!
