Two more deaths will push Lily further from Cane on The Young and the Restless

Who will die on Y&R?

Next week's preview for *The Young and the Restless* reveals that multiple bodies will be taken from Cane Ashby's (Billy Flynn) property. This occurs after Carter (Vincent Stabler) pulls a gun on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Fans of *Y&R* suspect that Carter will be shot and end up in a body bag, and there are speculations about who else might die. DamiAN Kane (Germaine Rivers) was the first casualty from Cane masquerading as Aristotle Dumas). Now there will be at least two more deaths.

Carter went rogue

Damian was stabbed in the back by Carter, who was expressing his loyalty to Dumas/Cane. he felt that Damian was an obstacle in the way of a Lane reunion but now he turns his wrath on Lily.

Some spoilers suggest that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could be a third dead body. Hopefully, there will not be more. Some fans wonder if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might die from his wounds or be killed trying to escape, but rumors of his exit are unfounded.

Carter is not a major character, and does nto even have a last name. Y&R viewers felt from the beginning that he would not stick around long, but how will he die? Could it be an accident, self-inflicted, or will Chance or Cane unalive him in an attempt to save Lily?

Floyd and Flynn switched soaps

Conner Floyd has left *The Young and the Restless* to take on the role of Chad DiMera, previously played by Billy Flynn on *Days of Our Lives*. Since *DOOL* tapes about eight months in advance, it will be some time before Floyd's first episodes air. In the meantime, Flynn's fans can continue to watch him on both soaps.

During his time as Philip Chancellor IV, Floyd has not had much screen time or engaging storylines. However, as Chad DiMera, he will be at the center of the drama involving the DiMera and Horton families. He is also considering a relationship with Cat Greene, played by AnnaLynne McCord, who is secretly working for the ISA.

Lily is not ready for a reunion

The upcoming deaths, including Damian's and Nick Newman, (Joshua Morrow) getting injured, will only push Lily further away from the father of her children.

While *Y&R* fans believe she will eventually reconcile with her former spouse, it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Cane masquerading as Aristotle Dumas has led to significant drama, keeping the residents of Genoa City away from their families.

During a time when everyone else was without cell phone service and felt trapped, Cane slipped away to Genoa City. Lily is fuming over Damian, so if Chase or someone else dies along with Carter, she may never forgive Cane for setting this in motion.

The Newmans will be out for Cane

Meanwhile, Cole Porter (J Eddie Peck) died while the Newmans were indulging "Dumas" and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Newman ( Hayley Erin) needed their family.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will not forgive Ashby for keeping them away from their loved ones at such a critical time. They will also be shocked at what happened to Nick, and Victor won't like Nikki considering selling Chancellor to Cane.

The Aristotle Dumas ruse has gone off the rails, and there is no one impressed with what Cane did. By the time everyone returns to Genoa City, he won't have one friend on his side except Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford).
