General Hospital fans believe Britt tampered with Portia's paternity test
Could Sidwell have ordered Dr. Westbounre to change the results to punish Isaiah

Is something screwy going on?
Some General Hospital viewers were stunned when Portia Robinson's paternity test revealed that Curtis Ashford was the father of her unborn child and not Isaiah Gannon. Although there was no reason to believe the results were not accurate, there was a sentiment that something screwy had taken place.
There was a viewpoint by some who watch the ABC soap that the results didn't seem right, but no one knew why. The test was done quickly, and there was no time for Portia to change the results, as some fans believed she might. What if someone else tampered with thepaternity results. Britt Westbourne did the deed?

Was Sidwell involved?
Some GH fans have been speculating online that Jenz Sidwell may have forced Dr. Westbourne to list Curtis as the father if the paternity test revealed it was Dr. Gannon. This would be a great way to get back at Isaiah.
You will recall that Sidwell was holding Dr. Gannon and Lucky Spencer captive in a compound/refugee camp in East Africa, near the Somalian border with Ethiopia. They got the best of him and escaped, but Sidwell never forgets.
Ezra Boyle told Laura Collins that her family was not safe from Sidwell, no matter where they are. Kevin Collins and Ace Cassadine are in Ireland, Nikolas Cassadine is in jail, and Lucky is off saving the world. As long as Mayor Collins complies with his wishes, Jenz will not bother them.

Is Isaiah a target?
Meanwhile, Isaiah is right in Port Charles and an easier target. Jenz no doubt heard the news that Portia was not sure who fathered her baby. Even though this has not been addressed in the storyline, he would have known that eventually she would get a paternity test.
What if Sidwell ordered Britt to keep an eye on things and to change the results if the baby was Dr. Gannon's? This would be in line with the way General Hospital shifts storylines when you least expect.
It would have been too simple to have Isaiah be the dad, and he and Portia raise their child together. Even just having Curtis as the father is not that dramatic.

A possible explanation
The irony of this possible scenario is that everyone was waiting on Portia to change the results, but she swore she would not resort to those tactics again. Having Sidwell force Britt to change the results brings the drama while keeping Dr. Robinson innocent.
Once Sidwell is taken down and Britt is no longer fearful for her life and has a way to obtain her medication, she might begin singing like a bird. Some viewers are skeptical that this could happen, but consider all the people in Port Charles that the criminal has a hold on.

Most of Port Charles is under Sidwell's thumb
Drew, Laura, Sonny Corinthos, Britt, Ezra, and now Willow Cain are all under his thumb. Jason Morgan and Jack Brenan's hands are tied, and they can't yet figure out how to stop this man. And he has neutralized Anna Devane by driving her mad.
While many viewers were stunned that Jenz supplied the drug Willow is using to keep Drew Cain incapacitated, others suggested he might be helping her, and they were correct.

GH fans know their soap
General Hospital viewers are astute at figuring out plots and they may be right again, although Sidwell's manipulation of Willow seemed to come out of nowhere. He may also be behind rigging Portia's test results. Meanwhile, Lucy Coe and Ava Jerome have no clue how ruthless this man really is and may be putting themselves in jeopardy.
It would be a great twist in the storyline if Isaiah turned out to be Portia's baby daddy, so stay tuned to General Hospital to learn if fan speculation turns out to be true.
