A Creepy Fish and the Ocean - Loan Shark Review
I love indie titles, especially when there are creepy fish on the cover. Let’s get into Loan Shark on Steam. You start off as a fisherman in massive debt to a loan shark. When I say massive, they give you the number as 999,999 euros. I’m not the smartest nor the wisest of the bunch, but I do know that that number cannot be paid down quickly in a manner of hours by fishing.

Beyond the Screen: The Lives of Gamers
M Mehran When most people think of gamers, they imagine someone isolated in a dark room, glued to a screen, thumbs flying over a controller. But for many, gaming is more than a pastime—it’s a world, a community, and even a path to self-discovery.

When the Algorithm Fell in Love
When the Algorithm Fell in Love “In a world of code and recommendation engines, even algorithms can learn to feel.” In the year 2034, books were no longer chosen by instinct or whim. They were recommended by an algorithm—LitMate, a sleek AI designed to analyze moods, reading habits, and neural patterns to suggest the perfect story. For most users, LitMate was simply a tool: an invisible librarian who knew exactly what to serve.

A New Faction For Shadowdark: The Cult of the Scale
The Cult of the Scale is a mass movement of reptilian monsters and races, to take back the world from mammalian races. They believe that since mammalian life arose after those who have scales, that such hairy usurpers and their civilisations must be overthrown. They wish to resurrect their ancient empires and see humanoids as nothing more than slaves and cattle. Insane, self-loathing humans wishing to overthrow society and lured by the promises of magical power and secret knowledge, and evil scaly creatures like the Viperians and the Lizard Folk, fill the ranks of the organisation, revering dragons and other scaly monsters such as primeval dinosaurs as gods. Insidious and ruthless, the cult seeks to infiltrate the hierarchies of cities, other religions, and rival factions to destroy them from the inside, while freeing or resurrecting reptilian monsters like the Tarrasque and evil dragons. Common creatures of Scalykind include the basilisk, bulette, cockatrice, couatl, crocodile, dinosaurs, dragons, hydra, lizardfolk, naga, salamander, snakes, viperians, wyvern, and the terrifying, colossal Tarrasque, a monster of apocalyptic destruction. The most terrifying of these monsters are treated as a living god by the members of this secret society.

Blasfemia Game Review
So…I don’t know how many of these indie horror games can start off and entirely occur in a locked house where the main character cannot just kick down the front door, but this is one of those games. I also don’t know how an evil nun can get annoying, but they can. Turning off light switches, appearing behind me, it makes for an interesting experience to a horror game to say the least.

The Thing Retrospective Game Review
So recently, I went on a kick of John Carpenter movies, y’know, like The Thing and the 2011 prequel of The Thing. As I was watching the movies, a friend informed me that he had played the video game a few years ago. To my surprise, and excitement, I decided to play the game myself.
