Peter Capaldi's Letter to a Fan Is Something Truly Heartwarming
In 2013, it was announced that Peter Capaldi, probably best known at that time from his role of Malcolm Tucker in The Thick of It, would become the Twelfth iteration of the famous Timelord. Taking over from the beloved Matt Smith, Capaldi quickly, and with great ease, put his own spin on the character, introducing his own brand of fun and mischief, while at the same time embodying an element of darkness about the character we hadn't really seen before.

'Doctor Who': "Twice Upon A Time" Review. Top Story - December 2017.
Warning: Potential spoilers for the episode below. “It's the end but the moment has been prepared for.” Those words spoken by Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor on the brink of his regeneration more than three decades ago could also be applied to this year's Christmas special. It's safe to say expectations were high thanks to the announcement of Peter Capaldi exiting the series alongside showrunner Steven Moffat, Jodie Whittaker taking over as the first female Doctor, and then the return of David Bradley playing the role of the very First Doctor (Bradley had previously played actor William Hartnell, who originated the role, in 2013's "An Adventure In Space And Time"). So did "Twice Upon A Time" live up to those expectations or did it crash and burn?

8 Unlikely Moments We Want to See in 'the X-Files' Season 11
When The X-Files (1993-2002) made a six-episode return in 2016, ratings were phenomenally good for the 23-year-old franchise, averaging about 16 million viewers per episode. Though the "television event series" wasn't as perfect as fans hoped it could be, it still didn't take Fox long to green-light a brand new season comprising of 10 episodes for 2018.

Review of 'Counterpart'
One of the best parts of the late, lamented Fringe—in fact, maybe the best part, tied for first place with its time travel—was its alternate reality. It was brought about by Walter some years earlier—actually, not brought about, but Walter brought into being the bridge—which in turn brought us access to an alternate reality in which JFK wasn't assassinated, Walter was sane, and lots of cool things like that.
