I'll Hold it in my Heart
The sun began to dip down low beneath the hills, bathing the land in rich pinks and oranges. Stars began to twinkle, bidding each other goodnight in a way that meant good morning. Anaya Andilet made her way down her street, reveling in the glorious feeling of the warm dusk. The houses on her lane all looked the same, short, squat and calmingly blue. The only difference was the type of flowers planted in boxes by the steps. Her’s were gardenias, the white blossoms drinking in the last few moments of sunlight. A little ways down, at the first house on the left, the patrollers were beginning to inspect the houses for the last time that day. Inspections were to ensure every family was following their schedule, and keeping up on their responsibilities. Seven a.m to make sure all were risen; noon to assure the house was clean and orderly; and seven p.m to be sure each member of the household was back in time for curfew. Anaya had been late once, it had ended in a cut in her breakfast rations.

The Cure
“She’s dead.” My heart stopped beating as a tear burned a trail down my cheek. I clasped her hand and stroked the slowly cooling face. “No, that was too fast. She should have had another week…please!” Dropping to my knees I begged the medic. “Please.”

Love or Retrenchment
Part 1: The Controlled Zone Merrell stared thoughtfully at the Kön-igual bath in the corner of the living room, opening a panel, slipping a set of tools from an arm sleeve, to tamper with the settings again. The plan had been in effect for three weeks, and differences in the body were evident. Light grey hands made quick work of the digital interface. Removing the robe around Merrell’s body revealed smooth grey flesh, non distinct gender features and no hair whatsoever, even on Merrell’s pale head. Stepping into the shower-like receptacle naked and closing the door, lights flickered all around. Merrell stood with eyes closed thinking about Jodi and the encounter that sparked this crazy situation they were pursuing. After all, Jodie had convincing evidence that Merrell couldn’t ignore.

A Message Left Just For (US) Humankind
My story will be about a person named David T. Berry. I browsed videos; on amazon prime video, I came across this Short series of videos; there are 8 videos. It's called 'The Knowledge Of The Forevertime'; So I started at episode 3, and; it's about all the cave paintings around the world and how they all have the same type of paintings no matter what cave you may enter into on this planet. I love science, cosmology, space, and I'm a sci-fi junky, and, at least, I can admit to my addiction. So I pressed pause and went and threw some. I went and threw some popcorn in the microwave, and then it was on from there.,
