Beginning 'round the time that Tad Friend, over at The New Yorker, published his October 10, 2016 article on Y Combinator founder, Sam Altman, the rumors flew far and fast concerning an odd footnote he included concerning the whole simulation hypothesis myth, popular amongst Silicon Valley elites. According to Friend's account, two Silicon Valley billionaires were taking the idea so seriously, that they had begun to "secretly engage scientists to work on breaking us out of the simulation".

Our world is covered in 70% water. It is a vital importance to earth and everything that lives in it. Sea water has properties that control out climate and make life on earth possible. If you think about it, without the oceans we would all be dead!! The carbon cycle that the ocean plays a part in a major role that makes life on earth sustainable. The oceans absorb 60% of the carbon dioxide we produce, and millions of plants and microbes photosynthesis that carbon dioxide daily.

No really, according to science there’s a strong possibility that you and I are nothing more but encoded information spread on a flat 2-dimensional surface throughout the universe. “Kyle, Kyle c’mon you got to wake up.” I slowly opened my eyes as the light pierced in stopping me from opening them fully. It was Tasia; even when she looked terrified she was still beautiful: her brown hair fallen perfectly across her shoulders and the scar on her forehead that I secretly thought was adorable. Her green eyes stared straight into mine. I propped myself up on the bed and groaned; it was still dark outside. “Tasia what’s wrong?” I was trying to be concerned but the truth of the matter was I was exhausted from last night. “Kyle they’re coming for us now, we have to leave right now.” I paused and looked at her harder this time and a lot more concerned. “Okay, get your stuff together and let’s go.”
