At the Carnival…on Halloween
The Carnival was very busy this evening. All the flyers and advertisement for the Halloween Spectacular at La Madame's Carnival were a huge success. The crowds were full to busting at the seams in crazy, creepy, and sexy costumes. The Dungeon and the Funhouse were the hit of the Carnival. Everyone saying they had a different experience when they went in, repeatedly. The Arcade Games were raking in the cash but dispensing plenty of prizes as well for sweethearts and friends.

Taking the Virgin Fairy
The smell of freshly cut grass permeated the meadow as Lily breathed in the scent, smiling. Many of the older fairies hated it, reminiscing about the times where meadows grew wild, before humans moved in and started bending nature to their will. Humans were dangerous. If they knew about fairies, they would slaughter them. But Lily enjoyed watching them all the same. Despite being a fairy, she found beauty in how they tended to gardens and kept grass soft and green instead of letting it grow into wild, tall stalks.

Motel Meeting
His instructions had been clear, so she waited patiently there on the bed... her nude body shimmering in the light of the full moon pouring in through the window. Even without her sight she could tell she was in a motel room still. The distinct smell that most motels have was undeniable. The note had told her to drive to the Lake Side Motel and rent room 132. There she was to strip nude and lay blindfolded on the bed as she awaited his arrival. Already she could feel the tightening of her nipples and juices of her longing taunting her wickedly.

FULL MOON BOOKKEEPER
Elizabeth was busy in the back of the shop in the history section filling away books about soldiers killed in war. This was one of her favorite spots in her shop. She really loved reading about the different histories all around the world. Elizabeth liked being in her quiet bookstore surrounded by pages with all the adventures she could possibly think of right at her fingertips. This was her dream job and she was living it. In high school Elizabeth helped in her school's library when her teachers would let her leave class early for finishing her work. She loved to read while helping and it didn't matter if it was fiction or nonfiction, Elizabeth had wanted to read it. She craved learned new things all the time. This made her happy in a way where she didn't feel pressured or like she was lacking anything in life.

Dinner party - The new home
So on last Saturday in April, in an attempt to preempt all this dinner angst, I wrote down a lineup of everything I wanted to cook that week on the first page of my blank book. Then we drew up a shopping list based on that lineup and hit the supermarket. It wasn't sexy and it wasn't necessarily original, but our plan-in-advance system worked.

Smokey Eyes and Cigarette Lips
"Maybe it's me," Autumn began as they sat in front of the fire, the smell of cedar and wine wafting through Elijah's new flat. He looked around the room, eyes caching remnants of the wild housewarming party they'd eventually have to clean up from and finally, perhaps after too long, landing on Autumn.
