Ignorance is bliss.
After all knowing too little is better than knowing too much.

There once was a legend of a fool, it was rumored that he would travel the realms in search for the great Yandrian Owl from the Yandrian Tree or better known across the 7 great realms as the tree of creation. See this man, Ammon, was in search of the Yandrian Owl, Gabrael, who in old Yandrian legends was known to be the wisest throughout the 7 realms and the ruler of the branch of knowledge. Ammon, who in determination, was in search for true knowledge of the creation of the first realm, the beyond realm.
But in legends of the tree Ammon knew that you would only find the tree if you have lost hope of finding said tree. Ammon though was in determination to find it and losing hope was nowhere near close to what he was to do.
This is a legend like the tree, it said in the legend that Ammon, who was determined, traveled land and sea to find the tree of creation. Ammon even went as far as to end his life in a fit to see if he could make his way to the tree of creation but just as he was about to cut his own throat a golden light shined before his eyes and soon as the light faded slightly enough for his eyes to see what was before him, he saw that before him stood a tall figure, a man made of light with eyes of gold and skin like the finest brown silk fabric, the legends had told of a man who fit these exact features, a man that Ammon had never thought would appear before him, this man dubbed himself Nakia, ruler of the sun and the great god of light. Nakia then told Ammon- "My dear friend, I am afraid it is not your time to end just yet, you have yet to accomplish your fated accomplishments and until you have accomplished them you cannot end." And Nakia handed Ammon a golden string and told Ammon that he had to find the end of the string and when he finds the end may he arrive to where he wishes to be. And so Ammon, with new found determination, soon took off the find the end of the golden string.
Ammon traveled across the Loriverian desert, traveled over and through the Andrian forests and through the Askian Empire, over the Heavenly Peaks and through the Cerian Plains and as he came to a conclusion that he would not find the end of this string, Ammon had finally hit his bitter end and as he passed out in the Mondrian desert, his muscles sore and his head aching. Ammon then heard the sound of rushing water and soon his eyes weakly opened to see before him was a beautiful golden tree next to an oasis that suddenly appeared and Ammon knew, knew that this was the end of the string and Ammon then stood and shuffled over to the oasis. On one of the golden branches of the tree was a white and golden owl with blue eyes, on another branch happened to be golden squirrel and under another branch was a white doe and before his eyes, Ammon did see a figure dressed in silk golden robes, the spirit king.
The owl began with smooth words. "Ammon, you have searched far and wide." And soon the squirrel continued, "You have tried with all your might, determined that you would find." And as if they had rehearsed this the elderly doe continued as well, "This tree you seek but with it your greed for knowledge.." and from the last came the spirit king, he opened his mouth and spoke with authority. "Soon brought you to failure but through your failure you learned that some things only come when you least expect it."
Ammon, filled with happiness and a little confusion, decided to speak. "I have searched through valleys and mountains." He took a deep breath and then continued. "I have searched for knowledge, the knowledge that I seek is the knowledge of creation. The creation of the very first realm." To this the spirit king seemed taken aback. "You are in search of something only one entity in the 7 seven great realms knows, why do you seek for such knowledge?" Asked the spirit king. Ammon knew that this would be a question he would receive and with great pride for his reasoning he said without a stutter, "I seek such knowledge not for the power of knowing what others do not but because I have a thousand theories, as do others, and simply I just want to know."
The spirit king, who too did not know, but unlike Ammon did not care was surprised by his answer, most who come for knowledge come to hold power, they come with malicious intent they hide behind a smile but Ammon had come with only curiosity in his mind, no malicious intent that the spirit king could find. And so the spirit king Aferni move aside and the golden owl lifted it's wings to reveal a golden glass filled with a liquid that shined like the sunlight on the horizon line. And the cup did float to where Ammon stood and as Ammon grabbed onto the glass he heard the owl speak, "You may take one sip, one sip may be all you need." And Ammon lifted the glass, taking a small sip. After he was done the glass then floated back to where it came from and Ammon could feel a new headache coming on.
Ammon clenched his fists as his eyes become blury, his whole body felt weak as he fell to ground. "W-What is happening?" Ammon wheezed out in confusion as he tried to grab at his head. The owl looked down at Ammon and said, "You are receiving knowledge, knowledge only I know so be patient as it will be painful." Ammon then yelled out in pain but his eyes turned white and his brain was filled with images of the past, creation of the realms that he had heard from the legends but then before his mind flashed an image of the truth. How the great beyond became what it was in the legends and who had created it and Ammon could feel tears trickle down his face as he watched before mind as the world began to place, piece by piece it all began to be put together. It filled Ammon with such an empty feeling. Ammon then realized he could not see and cried out in pain again, "I cannot see." But no matter how much he cried for the owl or the spirit king, nobody responded. Ammon was left stranded in the middle of the desert with no way to leave and no way to see ever again.
Some say ignorance is bliss, some say this legend was a warning to those who knew too little that knowing too little may be what keeps you sane but everything comes at a price, knowing too much may not be paradise.
