✅ Life Lessons: Change my Diet or Die

I had to change the way I ate because I was always getting sick. I even have a Ayurvedic Nutritional Certification, by studying how the eat in India.

✅ I am a vegan by choice. However, it is not what you think. Growing up, somehow, meat made me sick. Yes, I mean expensive steak made me sick. I often become ill all throughout my childhood.

I love kimchi and make pancakes out of them. I learned to make my own. I was born in Korea and even taught there for a year.

I went to doctors, and no one could figure why I kept becoming sick. My stomach would cramp up, and I felt like vomiting. Then I would spend the nights in the bathroom. My entire childhood was living hell.

Sadly, this would happen at the wrong times. I would be taking a test in a class, and my stomach would start to hurt. I learned to cry without tears, to smile while in pain, and I learned the art of dying while living.

Doctors could not help me. I didn't know what to do. I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

✅ I am a Buddhist, and we often have once a week where we do not eat meat or dairy all day. I woke up one day and decided to do an experiment. From that day forward, I would become a vegan. I loved to eat at temples.

For the first week in my life, a miracle, I would not feel any pain in my stomach at all. Since that day about 10 years ago, I have remained a healthy vegan. Sometimes, you have to look inside for life's solutions.

I have dated women who eat meat, and I do not look down on them. To each her own. I had to do a radical amount of research to be a healthy vegan. I consume super foods, no processed foods, and drink amazing teas.

✅ Food is Medicine

I never eat out. Well, rarely. Oh, I survived cancer twice, and I think my diet was a factor. My friend caught Covid and almost died as he was in intensive care for two months. He was overweight. I do not eat sugar. Did you know in some table salts they add sugar? Read the labels.

✅ I caught Covid, and in one week, I felt fine. By week two, I felt normal. Indeed, health is wealth. You are what you eat!

✅ Post Cancer Blues: The High Cost of Vegetables

By Randy Fath on Unsplash

I am no longer vegan because I can buy meat cheaper than vegetables. The prices of food is so high now.

Furthermore, because of my cancer bills, I have had to file bankruptcy and I go to food pantries to get free food.

✅ Oh, if you want more tips about how to eat healthy, ask in the comment section for me to write more. Perhaps we can collaborate on how to eat spiritually cleaner! I only eat one meal a day. Eat less to be more! Love more! Love nuts, seeds, monk fruit, and raw vegetables more.

✅ Curanderismo and Taoism

I want to go to Peru and become a curandero because they believe food is medicine and since doctors are so expensive, curanderos or healers are cheaper. They study Chinese Medicine and combine Old World and Asian ideas of health.

I believe Chinese boats came to Latin America before Colombus. Many there look Asian to me.

You are what you eat. Americans eat too much processed food and junk. I hope thing change.

Good job, and you are so right 'we are what we eat'. Mostly, I just eat a well-balanced diet of meat and a lot of fruits and vegetables, but I do eat some candy and snack foods.
