Trainee Teachers- securing your first role
At this time of year, even in the best of times, it is normal for trainee teachers to start panicking about not securing that vital first role for September. Its not helped that these are certainly not the best of times! While the temptation might be to keep banging out application after application this probably isn't the best approach and could, potentially, lead to more anxiety should another rejection email come through (or worse never hearing again from the school). There are, however, some things you can to do help you succeed or, at the very least, take some of the pressure off yourself.

About Me / Q&A
Hey there guys! I'm Simran from the studygram @studywithss on IG, and I'm currently in year 12, going into year 13 in September this year. I want to pursue a career in banking in the future, and I am thinking of doing an Economics degree at university. My ideal university would be London School of Economics (LSE), however, I have a couple others in my top 5 too.

Little Tree Huggers Pre-School
“MUDDY!” exclaims Olivia, one of a dozen Little Tree Huggers, as she revels in the squish of her boots along the gurgling creek. It’s a shout of pure joy in being in the outdoors with a full day of learning ahead that feels like playtime.

Being Dyslexic
I knew very little about dyslexia when our daughter was diagnosed. I was guilty of believing dyslexics simply transposed letters, and often saw them backwards, but dyslexia is more complex than that. It's true that many dyslexics see b's and p's in mirror form; however, they may also find themselves struggling to recall words, remember tasks, and people's names. Often dyslexia is accompanied by other conditions, like ADD/ADHD, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and/or dyspraxia.

The Interview Process: Application Help
Interviews are a very important component of the complete college application process. They give the student a chance to demonstrate his or her verbal skills, values, perceptions about the college, and perceptions of self as a learner and community member.

Remembering Kathy Storfer of the Bedford Hills Library
After years of mindlessly pursuing computers, I finally figured out that I was a writer. So in 2002 I took a journalism course at NYU. I was focused on writing personal essays, and when we were assigned an interview, I almost didn’t do it. But I figured, I’m here, why not. So the task was who, and apparently, I already knew what made a good story.

My Interview with Warwick University’s Venice Biennale Fellow!
Gregory Segal: What is the Venice Biennale? Victoria Pap: A Biennale can be defined as an exhibition that occurs every two years. The Venice Biennale is the oldest international exhibition in the world, starting in 1895. Today the Venice Biennale happens every year, alternating between Art and Architecture exhibitions. The Architecture Biennale uses, deconstructs, and builds spaces within the Biennale to exhibit the art of architecture, whereas the Art Biennale predominantly just uses spaces within the exhibition to display a variety of artworks.
